Damage to shower tray

We have just finished installing a new bathroom and have had the tiles fitted. Unfortuantely a heavy object was dropped in the shower tray and has damaged it (I believe it is fibreglass)....does anyone have any idea how it can be sorted without having to replace the whole tray.
Thanks

Have you checked your local yellow pages? In my area we have a few people that do tub and shower refinishing. Fiberglass can be repaired and at a fraction of the cost of a new shower stall.

Yep, fiberglass bases should be repairable. Plastic, on the other hand. . . . .
