Sorry to post this question twice. In the previous post I mentioned wood staining but I am not sure if that is the right term to use. I was wondering if there is an easy way to paint over laminate cabinets (that is the right term for the materials that they use in a mobile home for the kitchen cabinets-right?) without a lot of effort. I just have to cover a small area.

What is the best product that I can buy at a store like Menard's? Thank you.

Laminate is a hard, smooth plastic surface, like that typically used on countertops.

The best thing to do would be to remove a door or drawer and take it to a paint shop, NOT a home center like Menards. Even though you only want to paint a small area, this is the kind of job you want to do right the first time. A paint shop can give you some expert advice on how you need to clean and prep the surface, and what products you can use to paint it successfully.
