Creaking floors

We have a 1974 double wide, which we had re-leveled about six months ago. The re-leveler man said that he couldn't get it completely level, as the skirting panels would not fit properly if he raised or lowered the home too much. This made sense at the time, as it seems the panels must fit properly. Things were somewhat better after he finished, although it still slants slightly in several rooms.
Recently I have noticed a creaking sound, and almost a thumping sound, when I walk over the living room floor near the marriage line. The bedroom floor on the other side of the marriage line makes no noise.
Is this a symptom of more leveling being needed? Should we get bigger/more flexible/smaller skirting panels for the next job, so that it can be done properly?
Help.... How urgent is this and what should I do next?
(P.S. We are two women alone and will not go under the house for any reason.... we will have to hire someone.)
