I'm not sure if you have ever run into this... my mhp has individual meters on each trailer and I bill the residents, the city bills me for the water coming into the park. Every month the residents use about half of what I am billed for. I'm going to ask the city to calibrate their meter coming into the park but if thats not it there must be a leak??? There is no evidence you normally see with an underground broken water line... have you any ideas or have you ever dealt with a leak detection company? Not even sure where to look for such a service. Again, thanks to anyone who has input on this issue. Bryan

Cap the main line after the meter and before it enters the units in the park.Pressurize the line for 12 to 24 hours and have a gauge on it.If it holds pressure theres no leak,if it doesn't then you narrow down the leak from there.

I had an idea I thought I might run by you. What if I were to check the water pressure on each trailer with the main line charged... start at the end of the line and work my way forward to see if there is a major pressure drop some where as I get closer to the main. I like your idea but leaving all the trailers without water for a couple days would be hard to let happen, also I'm not sure how I would localize the problem as 24 units hooked up after the main meter. Thanks for your input.

Yes, mister, there are gadgets in the market that will detect a leak in a pipe. Ask your friendly plumber or better still, go to a Plumbing Suppy House that sells plumbing items only and they can help you.
By the way, once you obtain the right tool, follow the instructions and you can do the job yourself.
