Hello. My family has a Double Wide Modular Home that was purchased in 1977. It has been added on too... so you really cant tell that it is on the outside or the inside. We have a hallway bathroom that has a shower/bathtub combo.. that still has the original yellow colored bathtub in it. We are wanting to replace that.. but... its hard finding a unit that will replace this one.... since it has some weird dimensions. The demisions of our unit is roughly 53.5" Wide, 28" deep, and 89.75" tall from floor to ceiling. The shower's fiberglass goes from the floor to the ceiling. So.. What should I do? Has anyone done such a thing. Home depot carries the standard size tub/shower which is 60" Wide, 30" Deep, and 72" Tall. I realize I could tile from the top of the shower to the ceiling... and the 30" deep part is probably ok.. its just the width.. Can anyone suggest or help out here? Thanks alot! Kyle M.

Have you tried the parts store here?
You can also try a local plumbing supply store. The type that plumbers shop at. They may not have what you want in stock, but they can order any tub made and they are more knowledgeable than the typical home center salesperson. Check your door sizes. Remember you have to be able to get the tub into the bathroom. For this reason, a one piece tub probably won't be an option for you.
