bulges in skirting

In just the last couple of days I have noticed several bulges in my skirting. What is causing this, and how do I fix it? TIA!

In cold weather its usually caused by the ground freezing.(frost heave)The ground moves up a little when it freezes and thats pushing up the skirting.If your homes piers are not set below the frost line it will do the same thing to your house which causes problems with leveling and structure.Usually skirting is left a inch or so short in its channel so it has room to move a little.Perhaps yours needs to be shortened a little more..
