Sheetrock crack questions

I may be causing these... what do you all think? Our place is two years old - it's a triple on a slab with a 30# roof. We have trees all around, and I occasionally go up to blow off all the debris that collects. I weigh about 220.
There have been a few recurring cracks in the ceiling - the same spot opens again - very tiny. As well, there are tiny ones in a couple walls.
I'm not particularly worried about it, but I am wondering if I'm causing it, or if things are just settling a bit. I plan to just patch a bit with drywall patch, and paint over.

Thanks,
Mac

One sypmptom of cracks is being out of level. But that being said, a certain amount will show up anyway. But the first thing I would check is the level of the home, then go from there. Tom

This could be a lot of things. Since you are on a slab, I guess the ground doesn;t freeze where you are. IS the ground stable under the slab?
In many places, slabs settle and frost heave and cause cracks.
You arn't causing the cracks.

Thanks - it barely freezes. I did inspect every jack holding the house up... found only one with any looseness in it. The ground is very stable - no moisture issues. I laid french drains down when we set it... It's bone dry underneath (shocking for northwest Oregon :)
Thanks for your time,
Mac

Just a tip for you,if you have small cracks coming back in the same places patch them with a flexible caulk and then sand and paint over them. They won't crack again.
Usually tiny cracks are caused by the framing settling and will stop after a couple years. If there big cracks its a a out of level problem.

Thanks, Bill... these are tiny. It was my guess that things settle a bit.

what is the easiest way to first: check the level of the home and second: re-level if necessary?

Thanks
