One Cold Room!

One bedroom in my manufactured home does not heat worth a penny! All other rooms in the house heat pretty well. I have checked for sources of outside air getting in, have made sure that the vent is blowing out hot air, etc. However, that room still stays cold! Any suggestions?

Get a thermometer and check the temp at that vent and compare it to other rooms that are warm. It would be very odd that it be blowing the same force of air and temp and still remain cold unless some other factor is causing the problem. How about the belly wrap under that room, is it intact? Tom

Is that room the furthest from the furnace? I have one room that way, so I added a booster vent over top of the floor vent and it helped a lot.

I would like to know of the CHEAPEST place to buy replacement storm windows for a 1982 mobile home?

Mark,
What is a booster vent? How does one add it?

If I did the coding right, here's a picture of a booster vent. As you can see, it sits right on top of the vent and plugs into a nearby outlet. When the booster senses heat, it will automatically turn on a fan to help pull the air into the room. They cost around $30.

Mark,
Thanks for the photo and good explanation. However, I've searched the mobile home parts store on this site, Home Depot and Ace Hardware and none seem to have one for sale.
Where does one buy such an item?

I bought mine at Menards. Found it in the hvac section (where all the ductwork and such is).
Here's the website of the company who made mine. Maybe somewhere on the website they list dealers or can even send you one. I didn't look.

Thank you, Mark!
Home Depot's website has it for $34.97 and I'm sure my local store can get it for me.
