I have a 1997 Fleetwood. A tree hit the side corner hard enough to crack the wood that connects the roof to the side wall. There was damage to my roof, it buckled a screen in my master bedroom window and there seems to be a bow in the window right next to that window. Insurance will pay but how extensive should I insist the inspection go for hidden damage.

I'd say anytime something hits your home that of a size to do damage, you need to have a structural assessment done. It's possible it shifted the home on the foundation, moved/cracked plumbing connections, etc.
