My son has put holes in the walls of his room. They are not just little holes, these are huge holes. I am going to have to put new walls in. What do i buy just regular drywall?

Your drywall is either 3/8 or 1/2" sheetrock.. Measure inside a hole for the thickness.. Replace, prep and match accordingly to what you have, or you may have to paint the entire wall.

You need to be careful. Often the wall panels are structural memebers, the strength of the home depends on them being glued to the wall studs properly. If the holes are fist sized, they can be patched, screw a scrap piece of drywall to use as a backer, and apply joint compound over the hole.
