Careless contractor "walked" on my aluminum awning which was attached to side of home over porch.. It has pulled away (pulling gutters along), and has many holes and dents. Local awning people telling me it can only be replaced, but I want to repair. Any suggestions on patching products, etc.?

Well it would depend on what size your looking for. If you cant find anything locally,
http://www.mobilehomeadvantage.com has a good selection of awnings. These do not have to be MH specific, so anyone who sells awnings in your area should be able to help. You might try a
www.google.com search also. Tom
