we have a 96 oakwood we are remodeling. the floors are in good shape but are particle board. do we need to put 5/8 plywood down if we are going to install prefinished hardwood flooring.
the walls have 3/8 vinyl covered sheetrock with 2/3 studs. exterior walls are on 16" centers. interior walls appear to be 24"centers. we want to replace with 1/2 sheetrock. home was moved our lot in july 2003. leveled on concrete block foundation.
any suggestions?
