Paneling, best books

I love this forum and find it very helpful!

My first question: is it possible to panel over paneling, or is that too much stress on the home? My home is late '70's vintage, with that darn dark paneling in every room! I know painting is an option.

I checked out the Book Store on this site; what are the one or two "best" books to invest in?

Thank you so much.

I wouldn't think so; paneling is quite light.

Thanks, Mac.

Has anyone ever tried the wallpaper that is made to cover paneling?

If your interested in doing a makeover of your paneling, go to www.mobilehomerepair.com and click on the books and parts link. Mark Bower did a video on putting a pattern with joint compound on panelling. Its quite attractive.
