Ceilings

We have a 1986 Horton doublewide. The ceiling panels have these ugly little daisy shaped plastic things around a screw. Is there any thing that can be done to hide these or get rid of them?

They are sometimes called "Daisy's", and they are used to hold the panel to the rafters. You can remove them by "one at a time" taking them out and replacing the screw with a sheetrock screw and then filling in the screw head with something like joint compound and painting. Depending on what you have for a ceiling texture.
