info on relocating home

We are going to need to move our home. We are not sure yet if it will just be in state (Georgia) or perhaps all the way to Oklahoma. Is there a national Mfdhome moving company? How do I find a good company? What prices can I expect? I can't even find a good site online with any kind of help with relocating a home. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, there are no franchised or national companies that Im aware of. Look in your phonebook yellow pages under maunfactured homes for a mover. If your in a small town, look to the next larger city. They deal in size and mileage, so it would be fairly simple for them to give an estimate. Make sure they are insured and bonded. I would also check them out with the Better Business Bureau prior to signing any contracts. This is one of those areas where experience is necessary. There are a few shady movers out there, so do some research on them. Tom

We are dealing with this right now. Have yet to find ANY company that will take us to a different state. What on earth will we do with this home? There is no market to sell it, looks like we'll need to be moving out of state, and nobody will move it?!?! Anyone want to buy a home in Colorado?
