The Manufactured Housing Forums

Here in this area of New Mexico, a mobile home is allowed concrete pillars as a permanent foundation. I am planning on doing this myself and having it inspected. But even if I don't do the work myself, is there such a thing as a pre-cast concrete pillar? Would it be practicable? You can certainly estimate carrying loads and use soils information. Of course, making sure you get below the frost line in your clay soils, but they would be pretty heavy, huh?

Any help with this?
