The Manufactured Housing Forums

I asked about this back in March, Tracy responded, but I am getting mixed info about this. Is it better to move the home entirely by house movers or just jack it up in the air, and should this be done by only house movers. I want this project done correctly. I also was told I need the set plans to the home which include the info on putting it on a basement, but neither the retailer or the manufacturer have been able to give me anything. Help I am going crazy, need more space!!! Thanks!

Mark Bower...the author of some of the books in the bookstore here on manufactured home repair..has other books available at his web site...One is about putting a home on a wood basement...He also has a forum similar to this one were you can post this question..
