We have a 28x50 and some wall-to-wall carpeting shows a heavy "wrinkle" exactly over the seem where the 2 halves of our home are attached together.
Has anybody any idea how to repair this without replacing the carpet, which is still in very good condition? Any help is greatly appreciated.
loose carpeting
Re: loose carpeting
If the seam is still "tight" (hasn't pulled apart), then you should be able to re stretch the carpet. Be careful not to over stretch - you could pull the seam apart. If it doesn't need to move too far you can try using a knee kicker, but carpet stretchers are available for rent.
