basement, suspended ceiling

Tracy,

Have you, or any readers, had any experience hanging a suspended ceiling in a basement under a doublewide manufactured home?
I've found instructions online on how to hang one in a typical basement, one that has wooden floor joists, but besides giving me the basic idea, they're not much help when my ceiling has steel/iron beams running across it.
Thanks for any feedback..

Lynn,

We have installed suspended ceilings in multi-sectional homes before on a basement and had no problem. We simply used the I beam that the home was built on, along with the pocket cross beams to hang the wire suspending the panel grids. Between the floor joists and directly on top of the I beam where the underbelly and insulation rest, you will find plenty of room to run the wire.

Good Luck, I'm sure it will look great!
