Roll out room settled after 40+ years

I Have a 1983 Zimmer single wide with a roll out room attached to the living room. A couple weeks ago after lots of rain and then some hot dry weather a board (like a long 2x4 laid flat) between the roll out room and living room raised up about 1 inch. There's also a 6 inch long by 1 inch wide tear in the carpet which reveals a 1/2 inch wide gap between the two rooms that also has a metal rod running the entire length. I assume this is for expansion/settling.
Seemed to happen overnight. Looks like the back end of the roll out room dropped about 1 inch. House was installed new in 1983 and I've been here in Eastern PA since 2001 through all kinds of weather and nothing like this ever happened before.
Doesn't seem to be any other visible damage (no roof leaks, etc.). It's possible the whole house settled a little bit as well
because my screen door now scrapes the welcome mat on my front deck. Due to a high water table here and runoff from the house above me there is constant dampness under the house. Get frost heaves in winter but that just raises the concrete pad my front deck is on which also cause my screen door to scrape the welcome mat. Considering leveling the roll out room but wonder if it is necessary and might cause more problems. Also if we get more rain might this reverse/resolve itself?
Thanks for any advice/help you can give.
