Replacing Skirting

Post by MicheleStickley » Sat Apr 09, 2022 8:00 am

I hate skirting - it always looks yucky and with the first mow and week-wack it has holes in it. Do i HAVE to have skirting? I am think of pulling it all off and just putting in a nice flowering hedge. A hedge will help to insulate (I'm in central Florida so rarely gets below 32) and it will look tons nicer and critters get through skirting anyway so that's a non-issue. Is there any logical issue why I can't use a hedge as skirting? TIA!
