We have a 99 Palm Harbor double wide. The original storm door finally bit the dust last year. We have since built a large front deck with a roof on it and I really want a pretty solid glass storm door for our front door. We looked at some mobile home storm doors locally and I don't like them. They are the ugly ones with metal kick plates for the size we need. Ours measure 38x80 (storm door measured 36 1/4 x 79). My question in, can we just buy a pretty storm door from Lowes and install it? My boss said we should be able to just buy a regular one from Lowes and install it but I don't want to spend the money and not be able to. Or am I gonna need a carpenter to do this?
