Hello,
We are looking at purchasing a 2002 Champion in a park. I would like to ask a couple pf questions please.
First, when we were doing a walk through of the home we noticed an area of the kitchen floor that seemed to be "unlevel". The seller told us that one of the jack supports under the area had fallen over and needed to be replaced. Is this potential for serious damage or a big deal?
Secondly, I noticed that the vinyl skirting all the way around the home has holes at the bottom and should be replaced. Can new material just be "popped" in using the existing top and bottom rails that seem to be ok or this this a major undertaking?
Thanks
Couple of questions on possible purchase
Re: Couple of questions on possible purchase
Your first question...Floors cn be not so bad a problem or a huge problem...This is an 8 year old home and you will be spending tens of thousands of dollar. You should consider investing a few hundred with a professional home inspector. They will check out all the things you notice and know how to find the things you do not see.Once you have his.her report you will be able to move forward with full knowledge of anything you will have to correct soon and what to expect in the next few years..
The underpinning question is much easier..You CAN reuse the top and bottom rail and replace the panals that are damaged..That damage to the bottom of the skirting is usually caused by sting trimmers with a not so skilled operator..
Good Luck
