SunSetter Awning

I live in the desert where temps get way over 100 & our home faces west on the kitchen/breakfast nook side......which is the short side, where most MHs do not have a door, but this is where my back door is as well as 2 large windows. I sent for the SunSetter info which came yesterday & for around $1200 NOT installed I can get a awning that would span about 16 to 18 ft of the 26 ft width of the MH. I would like to know if anyone has one of these & if so how do you like it & was it difficult to install?
