If your handy at all fix the bathroom yourself. Although your parts may not be available you can make things work for you with a little time and effort. and elbo greese.

I'm currently in the middle of redoing my bathroom in a 1971 mobile home. I had to work pretty fast to get it functional again as it was the only bathroom, however if yours is a second bathroom it gives you a little more time to do the work.

I've got about 1500.00 into the bathroom I'm doing, and it was bid out for 3500.00 by a local contracter.

If you want Pictures of the ongoing project shoot me an email and I'll post some on my web server so you can have a look.

I do appreciate the replies with suggestions about doing it ourselves and the savings possible.... but we are two women alone who can spackle a wall, hang pictures and use the Phillips screwdriver, but that's about it.
If I had to replace faucets and shut-off valves myself, I might as well try to build a rocket to Mars. We are going to have to use professionals and pay the price!
This is a very helpful forum, however, and I learn something new everytime I read the notes. Thanks again.
