Crazy Screw Head

Post by Estaplet » Fri Mar 05, 2021 2:28 pm

We bought property with a 1976 double wide that is in very good condition. We are doing some minor renovations. Everything in it uses this crazy screw head I have not seen before (it is not a clutch bit head). Anyone have any ideas?

I would look at "tamper proof" bits..

It looks like the screws we are taking out of our 1978 Sylvan and we are using a clutch bit... ours almost look like a square bit would work, but just spins. Your comment makes me think you’ve tried the clutch bit, is that correct? ( I’m not trying to sound condescending just curious as to why )
