BOCA homes

I was just wondering if anyone knows if BOCA modular homes come with a serial number and if so, does the buyer get a title?? Any info. on BOCA homes would be appreciated. Thank you.

Most do have a seriel number...mostly for the builder to keep records with..They are of no legal use...There is not a title for this type of home...they become part of the real estate they are built on...just like any other home...

In Michigan there are many modular homes that have been titled. This is only the case for on frame modulars. It is often done to put modular homes in land lease communities until the buyer can find the property of their choice. If you find one that was titled don't buy it, they are very difficult to finance as modulars once the title has been issued.
