IF ANYBODY HAS ANY INFOR ON CAVALIER HOMES, WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU. ARE THEY GOOD HOMES, ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE HOMES, ETC. REALLY WOULD LOVE ANY INFO YOU HAVE BEFORE WE MAKE A DECISION. Julie,

My partner and I recently purchased a Cavalier Manufactured home, we looked at the Cavalier modular and decided for many reasons to stick with the manufactured home. We looked at so many brands, and heard so many tales of why there homes were the best, but in the end, Cavalier won! If you can keep yourself from being won over by the glitz and so called glamour of the other makers you are over the first hurdle.. Look at the build quality and the return on your investment, will that home still be standing and dry when the big screen tv wears out? Cavalier is one of if not the only manufactured home that offers standard construction quality building, 2x6 exterior construction, 2x4 interior walls, 2x8 floor joists, optional 7/12 roof pitch, and residental style windows. take a look at the cabinets, granted they are not HIGH end cabinets, but they are at least real cabinets, not the built in place crap you see in every other home out there. Take a look at your local Lowes or Home depot and you will find the cabinets used in a Cavalier. Don't let the price scare you, your still getting more bang for your buck and it will still be standing many years down the road... Look at the interior door hinges, they are residental hinges, morticed in, just like in a house, go figure! doors and windows are standard house sizes, not things you will have to pay an arm and a leg for at a trailer supply depot if they ever need replaced. For my money, you won't find a better built home, ours has a 7/12 roof, we left the cheap looking dormer off, it is on a permenant foundation and we built a porch and a large sun room off the back. We are not ashamed to show our home to anyone, and to be honest, I have yet to have anyone walk into our home and say " Nice trailer" You can call the Cavalier factory office and they will put you in touch with dealers withing driving distance. They even sent me a cd rom of the home I was wanting to see so I woudn't have to drive to see it. My advice, go for it, you won't regret it....

I have had a lot of experience with Cavalier. They are pretty decent. As the write above stated, not real high end. But a good quality home, with good people behind it!
