in desperate need of 3br

my husband myself and our 2 kids have been trying to locate a 3 br single or dw 1-2 bedrooms
In or around Aiken SC.
we are currently renting a home for 450.00 a month and landlady wants to go up to 600.00(the utilities run us about 300.00.we have searched for 2 weeks with no luck.needed it ASAP and no more than 400.00 a month.
any info would be greatly appreciated.!!!!!

Why would you expect you can buy for less than rent...Actually you can buy close to the figures you mention...and utilties should be a lot less...but buying is a big hurray is hardly ever a good idea..
I am in Augusta...I sell home for a living...You should be able to get a good location in Aiken County and a moderate NEW double section with great energy features for no more than you are paying now...The First time buyers program seems to be suited for you..which means you can buy for as little as $500 out of pocket..
