Info on Trade-in programs

My huasband and I live in a double wide manufactered home in a community in St. Clair Co., MI. Frankly, we are sick of it and would like out! We are looking for any info about trade-in programs or moving our home to private land. I have been searching the the internet to my ongoing frustration, and coming up dry. HELP!!! Please!

Trading in is a losing proposition, even if the home is paid for, you will get far less for it than you are expecting.

Moving the home is an option, but you should check your phone book and call some of the mobile home movers/setup crews in there, as they will be the only ones that can give prices for your area. As a guestimate, I'd say $4000 to take down, move, and reset a doublewide, depending on how much of the work you want them to do.
