I write insurance here in Florida...Leon County is where we are located, recently we signed up with a new company called Safe Harbor Insurance, written through Cabrillo General Insurance Co. Do you know any history of this company? They are writing most counties here in Florida, and we all know that any option besides Citizens...well is at least an option. But from what I can can tell, they are very strict on credit scores, so not everyone qualifies.

Why not check it out with the commissioner? They should have all the underwriting factors available as the company has to file them. That way you know who to try to get them to underwrite to and you're not spinning your wheels. You also may want to check out A.M Best to see how they stack up.
