we just purchaseD a mobile home park in Alabama
65 spaces with 48 occupied. 17 park owned mh. 1 Office bldg, and 1 efficiency house. The insurance quote we got was $4,300.00. Isnt that a little high, considering the previous owner was paying $1700.00 but that insurance company no longer does MHP.

Geez...that is about $200 per year per structure...This does not mention the special costs of liability coverage that should be included...Sounds really low to me.....Good thing the last owner did not have to make a claim...That cheap price would not have been with the savings..

Cheap insurance often is worse than no insurance...Insurance is nothing more than a cost of doing business...like taxes...All you can do is be sure you are getting the right coverage from a company who will be there when you need them..
