I am looking into buying a used home, but it has a few perks such as 17x33 in-ground swimming pool a 24x33 detached workshop it is on a acre of land that is fenced total living space is roughly 2000sqft the asking price is 158,000 is that to much to be asking for it can you give me some direction of its worth that much in the state of NC. thanks

Value is all in location...It would be impossible to comment meaningfully on the value without knowing much more about your area...Example...beachfront this would be a super bargain...12 miles down the dirt road in the boondocks..it probably would be way too high...The only way to get an accurate value determination is to invest in a professional appraisal....Plus if you proceed to buy..you will want a professional home inspector..to be sure there are no hidden problems...If this home makes you happy...GO for it..
