I have a 1986 singlewide that I am planning on converting to a house. I'm going to remove the metal siding and replace with plywood and cover with vinyl siding, add on the whole length of the front and cover with an "A" roof, replace the trailer windows with new vinyl windows, I've already replaced the doors with house doors, and basically, when I get done, you'll never know it was a trailer when I'm finished, by looking at it.
My question is, can I get house insurance or can I only get mobile home insurance since the actual trailer will still be on a frame? I live in Virginia.
