I'm curious whether an insurance company offers a home warranty package on a manufactured home, similar to site-built homes. For example, we're living in a development home now and have carried a home warranty policy for the 6 years since I bought it. It covers the pool, electrical, A/C, etc. Is the same thing available on MF, after the manufacturer warranty expires? Thank you.

Yes, warranties are available on manufactures homes on various ages of homes depending upon the provider. The warranty we write is on homes up to 20 years old for used, and new home warranties are available if the house is less than 1 year from the purchase date. If a person gets a new home warranty say for 5 years, the first year may be covered by the manufacturer and the remaining years are covered by the insurer.
