Insurance on older home

I have an 30 year old manufactured home it is insured for $35,000. I was told by my insurance agent that if were damaged and replaced, I would receive only the value of home 30 years old. How much would that be?

From what you are saying, your agent is correct in that you would receive Actual Cash Value for your home, which is the current valuation. Therefore, insuring it for more than what is worth is extra premium.
In order to get an approximate valuation, I would need the details like manufacturer, model, year and size.

Give me a call at 1-800-752-2441 and I could give you a quote on a policy and your mothers home. If your mother is over the age of 50 we can offer an AARP endorsed policy with a discount. I write through Foremost Insurance and we are the leader in the mobile/manufactured home insurance business. We are not always the cheapest but I can at least give a quote and advice on insurance for your home so that you don't get a policy that has a cheap premium because the company leaves a whole lot of coverage off from the policy.

I have a mobile home build in 1976. I want to rent it out but cannot find a company who will insure a mobile home that old if used for rental property. Could you tell me where I might get some insurance for this property?
