Dover Manufacturers?

Hi, we bought a doublewide Mobile Home set up on land in January. The previous owner (private owner) said the brand is DOVER. Has anyone ever heard of this? How can I find out about the company? I tried searching dover on the internet but couldn't find anything. One more question, is there a way to search the serial number of the home to find out the history of it? I have tried various search engines and maybe I am typing my request wrong but have had no success. Any help would be great. this is our first time in a mobile home (we previously had a site built brick house) and it's a big change. We are still adjusting. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!! By the way we are in southeast Texas. The home was made in 1995.

In looking at different manufactures. I came across Burlington Homes and one of thier home styles is Dover. I don't know if this helps

The title of the mobilehome shows" Mobilehome". The registration shows "unknown" to insure, we need make and model..it's a 1981 mobilehome and the serial number is NZ1DBGX170142DCKS24228...we wondered about a Guerdon but there is no indentification plate or anything on the mobilehome. It's professional built and very nice....but we can find nothing on make and model...do you recognize the serial number and can you tell us at least what you believe it is?
