FARM BUREAU INS
FARM BUREAU INS
I AM LOOKING AT PURCHASING FARM BUREAU INS. FOR COVERAGE. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY, AND HOW THEIR SERVICE ARE? THANKS
Re: FARM BUREAU INS
Farm Bureau is a mutual company owned by the members...the policy holders..and is a different company in each state...The company is run by individuals elected by the policy holders...most often you will find them in the more rural ares..
In our area they are by far the lowest rates available....In GA and SC..they are very good on claims...they do check credit (many insurers are now) and will not insure those with major credit problems...In addition to the policy costs you have to pay a modest membership fee...They sell all kinds of insurance and are often lower on automobile insurance as well..

Re: FARM BUREAU INS
I have Farm Bureau Ins. Its great! I do not have land, but live in a mobile home park. I told the agent that I wanted the full financed loan value of 30,000 dollars on my house (mh). He put down: 30,000 house value 75,000 contents inside contents value and he even tacked on this: anything that has a PLUG gets replaced. I have 75,000 dollars personal liability and some other small ends. My 75,000 contents would be for clothes, furniture and the like. My plugs (tv..computer..ref..washer/dryer) would be replaced with NEW and will not have a value on it, just NEW. I have a 8x12 wooden shed which is wired for elec. and I have power saws etc etc along with a deep freezer in there. Covered that for 2,000. I was scared to ask how much the yearly premium was. It was only $350 dollars a year. Not bad.....Oh and yes..I have it in WRITING!! Be sure you get it in WRITING. My yearly membership is $35.Hmmm...maybe 10 years down the road I could......naw..I love my house.
