Replacement Insurance

Post by SG » Wed Jun 19, 2002 9:48 pm

Is it possible to get replacement insurance on a home rather than cash value insurance? As we all know, MH tend to drop in value in comparison to stick homes, so cash value insurance could be a rather risky venture. If anyone know of a company that does do replacement insurance I would love to know who it is.
What about the contents of your home, are they insured at cash value as well?
Thanks

Almost all insurance companies offer replacement value..some as an option..Often there are two different options...Replacement of the home itself...and replacement of the personal effects...both very low costs...

Actual offerings can very by state...Example..All homeowners insurance sold in SC is replacement value by law...GA this is not true...

Some popular companies...American Modern, Foremost, State Farm, Allstate, Farm B, Nationwide...the list goes on...Try getting a quote from the insurance section of this site..Or check the yellow pages on this site for an agent in your state..
