Insurance after lapsed policy

Post by seajay44 » Wed Dec 06, 2023 2:27 am

I live in my mobile home in Capri Mobile Home Park in Las Vegas 89102. My insurance was carried for many years by Foremost, but for some reason, I did not get the reminders to make payments to keep mu policy active. I just discovered that my policy, therefore, lapsed in 2019. I tried to renew the policy, but Foremost-Western would not renew because the policy lapsed. Thus, I need to get insurance, but have had no luck in finding a carrier. Can you suggest one?

Finding insurance for a mobile home, especially after a policy lapse, can be challenging, but there are several options you can explore in Las Vegas. Here are a few companies that provide mobile home insurance, which may be willing to help:
1. State Farm: They offer mobile home insurance and may be able to provide coverage even after a lapse. They are known for working with a variety of home types, including mobile homes.
2. Progressive: They provide mobile home insurance in Nevada and are often flexible with different circumstancesgeometry dash meltdown
3. American Modern Insurance Group: This company specializes in mobile home insurance and may be more understanding of lapses in coverage.
4. Allstate: Another large insurance provider that offers mobile home coverage. They might be able to help you get a new policy.
5. Farmers Insurance: Farmers also provides mobile home insurance, and since you were with Foremost (a Farmers company), they may have your information and could assist in getting you a new policy.
When contacting these companies, be upfront about your situation, including the lapse in coverage, as some insurers may still be willing to work with you despite the gap. You could also try contacting an independent insurance agent in Las Vegas who can shop around for you and find a company that is willing to insure your mobile home.
