I own a mobile home park, and it has come to my attention that a non-payer (as of at least 12 months) has abandoned the mobile home.
(the mobile home is very old and it wouldn't be worth my time to sell it even if I got the title) Also, I've tried to reach owner for at least 9 months and have had no response. I am pretty sure that he owes me more than the mobile home is worth.
What are my options?? Thank you

Every state has its own legal process involving abandoned manufactured homes. In many instances you will find this under the abandoned vehicle law. Tell us in what state you park is located and Ill give you contact info for the local Manufactured Housing Association, where you can find the most experience under your states law with this, all too common problem.

For a brief explanation of your state's Abandoned mobile home rules see
http://law.justia.com/codes/louisiana/2 ... s9-5363-1/
While this section covers secured parties (lenders) it would not be unusual for a park owner with back rent due to be required to follow the same rules and procedures.

If your lease includes a clause about abandoned property
Sprunki or unpaid rent leading to forfeiture, this may strengthen your case.
