Claiming loss of rental income on income tax

Is there any way to claim loss of rental income due to vandalism of a rental trailer? The trailer had to be totaled. I've already claimed the loss of the trailer itself, but now I have no trailer to rent and of course couldn't even rent the space while I was getting the mess out of there.
