are MH parks considered private property or municipality?

Post by send2bill » Thu Jun 29, 2006 1:38 pm

I live in a small "town" that is not incorporated and we are surrounded by 3 MH parks...we are investigating incorporation and I don't know if we become incorporated, if we can 'annex' the parks becasue we would then be a town, or if they are private property that we can initially just put within our meets and bounds....

Te communities [parks] are private property. So, rather than just a single home on a piece of land, there are severalh omes on a piece of land. But, the land is privately owned - either by an individual, partnership or corporation. Talk to a real estate lawyer to find the best way to proceed. And, talk to the owners of te communities. Show them the benefits of incorporating as a town.
