Chrissy,

Are you aware of any published articles or reports showing what the average Manufactured Home Community managers compensation is - including salary, commission, bonus, etc.

Thanks

Chrissy

There is none that I know of, due to the complicated compensation system in place for management. Some issues to consider: Does it include housing, or just free rent? Does it include full or partial utilities? Does it include the use of a vehicle? Does it include health benefits fully paid or partially paid? Does it include other paid benefits? Does it include the opportunity to qualify for bonuses or sales commissions? And - economic conditions vary widely from one part of the country to another, and that also comes into play, as does the size of the community, the skill sets needed, whether it is a couple or only one person, etc.

We pay our guy $55,000 a year, free housing for wife and children, free medical, all lighting, heating bills included, free telephone, bonuses, paid vacation time, etc. The value of the "package" is well over $100,000 a year when all is added in. We're a condo of manufactured homes. We have 152 owner sites and 47 leased sites and are located on the Atlantic Ocean in 22 acres with 800+ of beachfront in East Hampton Town in NY.
