Is there an industry average for annual lot rental increases?

No, there really isn't. Many different factors come into play when computing rent increases, and one of the most important is to consider the terms set forth in the lease and all other state required documents.

We live in a park in palm beach gardens called the meadows. They charge $921/month for lot rent. It includes everything except electric. They have increased it every year by $28-34 a month. We have asked for a breakdown of the increases each year and they do not provide a detailed financial breakdown. Are they required by law in the state of Florida to provide this to owners? We are considering selling and feel we should be able to explain this to potential buyers. Thank you for your help.

I have pulled up the state by laws and tried to understand it but without an interpreter from a legal professional, there is no way to understand it. Of course we are not financially set up for that which is what they count on I'm sure.
