Chrissy: I' have a buyer for my doublewide which is 8 rs old. They are getting an F H A loan. The inspector informed me that as far as state regulations are concerned everything was great, then he tells me that the new regulations for that type of loan the colums underneath the home does not pass fha standards nd that an engineer has to come out and I will have to redo or stucco underneath the house AND THE PERSON BUYING THE HOME IS NOW HAVING A LITTLE PROBLEM. CAN YOU HELP ME!

These are the requirements for an FHA loan that is placed on private property...(FHA title 2 mortgages)..

FHA title 1..for placement in rental parks the requirments are different...much easier..check with the lender for current information...I believe all that is necessary is a FHA approved NADA appraisal and property condition report..
