REFINANCING

Post by Fran Phelps » Sun Mar 21, 2004 8:00 pm

I have a manufactured home in Oceanside, CA on a leased lot in a senior community. Built in 1997, it is a doublewide: Manufacture Name Baron, Make/Model No: Newport 924. Bought in 2001 for $67,000.00, I have a balance of $49,500.00. I want to refinance but I can not find anyone who will do that. I did find one Company, "The Mortgage Shop", after saying he could do it, he would never call me back. I have very good credit. Can anyone direct me to a company that will refinance.

Thanking You,

Fran Phelps

Please give me a call to discuss your situation. I have lending programs for homes in park and on land. The guidelines require that the home be no more than 12 years old and only a rate and term refinance is available at this time. Cash out or equity loans are not available.

As far as the home built prior to June of 1976, I know of no institutional lenders who are currently offering any financing for the older homes. My best suggestion is to contact a local bank, credit union or finance company or find private money to finance the transaction.

If you wish, I can be reached at 800-254-9659 x 112.
