I am planning to talk to legislators in the state of michigan about MHC providing underground shelters for residents in case of storms or emergencies. These shelters could be located in the parks to house 100 residents per shelter on a short term basis until the threat has passed. A basement like shelter that is about 2100 sq ft should be plenty to hold 100 people per shelter.Anyone interested in supporting this?
