Our park manager told us that and about 5 other people that even though on the rules it states no motorcycles, she would let people have them. So there are about 5 people with motorcycles. This year she says that everyone has to keep them in thier shed. She lumps the bikes in with recreational vehicles, when a bike is transportation. She has also stated that if her rule is not complied with they can take our site away from us.
Can you please tell me if there is any law that would keep bikes out of parks legally or make you keep them in the shed (granted it is ok to have one and ride it in and out the park). We live in Michigan if this helps any.
Thank you, I really appreciate it!

Re: Motorcycles
Michigan has no law that would require you to keep motorcycles out of the community or to keep them in a shed. A community owner, may enact such restrictions in their Guidelines. However, they must give proper legal notice and the Guidelines (rules) must be in writing. A manager who takes it upon themselves to impose their own interpretation of the Guidelines without having them properly promulgated will have a tough time enforcing them. I encourage you to contact the owner or regional manager for more consistent enforcement.
