Selling Home

How do you tell a resident that has lived in your park for serveral years and wants to sell his home and the person buying wants to leave it there but you want it moved because of age and conditions.

Hopefully you have laid the groundwork by sending notices to the current resident over time, advising them of needed repairs. Then, you can simply tell the current resident that the repairs must be done prior to a new resident being granted occupancy. Be sure to check your state law - in some states it is not legal to make moving the home a condition of sale, and in others you may not require things of the buyer you did not require of the seller prior to the sale.
